ABC House consists of two levels: the ground floor accommodates kitchen, dining room, and a small studio; bedrooms and bathroom are at the first level. The irregular silhouette of the Italian mountains offers the chance to work on a kind of hybrid system based on the assembling of three components: two independent boxes, containing bedrooms and technical spaces; the roof, whose geometry recalls the orographic context; and, lastly, six panoramic points –small parasitic architectures offering unusual views. The house’s dynamic and articulated facades are counterbalanced by a homogeneous and continuous interior space, made of wooden structural panels, and equipped as a modernist machine for living.
